Hey, everyone happy fall.
So many of us who live on the Island find this to be the best
season with amazing weather and a little slower pace.
But in real estate this year, we seem to be keeping the pace of the summer.
As I said, there has been no slowdown in the real estate market here. We had 90 home sales in September. This is compared to 53 last month and 47 last September.
To say that home purchases on the vineyard are up, is quite an understatement at this point.
I mentioned last month that we’re seeing a huge demand for new construction or those homes that have been completely updated. It seems that many people do not have the time or interest in taking on a project and are looking to move right in.
We’ve also seen a spike in land sales. In September, We had 17 land sales, only six last September.
So when comparing the same timeframe last year, we were up 91% for home sales and 183% for land.
